I’ve decided that we are going to create a class website on each of the topics to do with light that we talked about. topics include: 1. how the eye works, 2. light receptors, 3. colours, 4. refraction, 5. fish eye vs sheeps eye, 6. lenses, 7. polarised sunglasses, and 8. transparencey. We have been talking about sex education in science. We have discussed recent research relating to sneaker males that give depth to survival of the fittest theory.
Next group to choose a topic for year 9 science research is 9 Green. You may choose from Environmental science which includes practical activities using the school wetland, microscopes, the new digital microscope and lakes and rivers.

Electricity which includes electrical circuits and research in car interior lights.
We will also be creating a blog on an article from Cosmos. You will present your questions and findings.
